Andrew Ault came from Ohio and lived in Wisconsin and Nebraska before moving to the Turkey Creek area of Jefferson County. in 1882.
His brother Frank and large family all lived in Andy's cabin when they first arrived - about 20 under one roof. Andy's family listed in the original cemetery records, inside the front cover -   Medlen, Colorado, Aug. 9th. 02, (signed) W. H. Ault Secy protem,  show his family as Tressa b. 2 Jul 1861, Frederick b. 20 Jun 1863, Harriet b. 18 Jul 1865, Perry b. 23 Oct 1867, Alvah b. 4 Jan 1870, Mary b. 21 Jul 1872, Rosetta b. 1 Dec 1874, William b. 24 Mae 1877,  Charles b. 29 Jun 1879, Dreuzilla b. 10 Aug 1881, Cora b. 5 Nov 1884, and Clary b. 5 Dec 1886. "Mountain Memories - From Coffee Pot Hill to Medlen Town", Moynihan & Waters, 1981.  Son Perry wrote the book "From Oxen to Jet Planes" about his life of 102 years with much of interest to the family.
